When this 1969 Charger was snagged up for restoration, it was a bit of a rust-bucket. It did have some good points, it was a fairly complete car — but it still took about 1,300 hours between the two fabricators to make it what it is today. This project was a labor of love by the Smith Brothers, and owned by Chris Consoli.
Chris waited a long time for his dream car; he’s wanted a General Lee Charger since he first saw the show at four years old. He did opt to get some extras, some for the sake of modernization, some for styling, and others for practicality. It of course has the roll bar, the signature horn melody, and all of the trappings of a good General Lee.
